1st time to happen in our place.
On Saturday morning, I was about to leave the house when Tita Ana came to tell us that the water outside the Lifehomes gate is already knee-deep. She advised me not to leave and just stay home. I decided to go and see and situation outside. There's already water in the streets. My first thought was: THIS IS UNUSUAL. 1st time. As the water rises, I took pictures from my phone to document the peculiar phenomenon. But never did I expect that it was just the beginning, that what I captured were nothing compared to what is about to happen.
Thank God the house had a strong foundation and a strong ceiling. At least we had something dry to step on.
Every storm will end. And in every storm, God is there. I continue to praise Him because no matter what happens, He remains God. I am still. Because I know Who my God is and what He is capable to do.
